When a fortune 100 healthcare organization was looking to get greater visibility of and control over their user’s consumption of cloud applications, they engaged EDGE Consulting for their Security Access Services Edge (SASE) expertise. We knew, through discussions with our IT standards and mergers and acquisition (M&A) processes, there was a great deal of “shadow IT” happening. We were looking for a cybersecurity company we could trust to guide us through the SASE technology landscape evaluation process and also be there to help us implement the SASE solution.
EDGE worked with the client to develop the evaluation criteria and was instrumental is the evaluation process resulting in the selection of Netskope. The customer expressed an appreciation for how well EDGE was able to make the valuation process simple and pragmatic.
EDGE quickly transitioned from the product selection to assembling a deployment team. EDGE, with the help of their partner, CloudRise, hosted customer requirement sessions and created a Netskope deployment project plan based on the customer’s top priority focused on addressing SaaS application security concerns. The EDGE team, powered by Cloudrise and their Netskope deployment experience, were able to quickly document risk management use cases. The EDGE team’s previous Netskope implementation experience also made the conversion of use cases to Netskope configuration logic more straight forward and efficient.
