Cloud DevOps Consulting for Enterprise Engineering Teams
You moved to the cloud. Deployments are still slow, releases still require a war room, and the infrastructure your team was promised would be elastic is now a source of tickets. Migration solved where your workloads run. It did not solve how fast you can ship.
EDGE Solutions & Consulting provides cloud DevOps consulting that closes that gap - building the pipelines, automation, and platform practices that turn cloud infrastructure into delivery speed.
What We Build
Our engagements are hands-on. We work inside your environment alongside your engineers rather than delivering recommendations and walking away.
- CI/CD pipeline design and implementation. Automated build, test, and release pipelines with quality gates that catch failures before production instead of during it.
- Infrastructure as code. Terraform and equivalent tooling to make environments reproducible, version-controlled, and auditable, so provisioning stops being a ticket queue.
- Kubernetes and container platforms. Cluster architecture, workload migration, and the operational guardrails that keep containerized environments from becoming their own maintenance burden.
- Observability and release safety. Monitoring, logging, and alerting designed around service ownership, plus deployment patterns that make rollback routine rather than heroic.
- Security and cost built into the pipeline. Policy, secrets management, and spend controls enforced at deploy time, not discovered in an audit or an invoice.
Why DevOps Stalls After a Cloud Migration
Most enterprises do not fail at DevOps for lack of tools. They fail because tooling was adopted without changing how work moves. A pipeline exists, but half the deployments still bypass it. Environments drift because provisioning stayed manual. Ownership is unclear, so nobody is accountable for a failed release at two in the morning.
The result is measurable: long lead times, low deployment frequency, and change failure rates that make teams deploy less often, which makes each deploy riskier. Breaking that cycle requires engineering work and operating model changes together. We do both.
Why EDGE
EDGE is a woman-owned technology consulting firm founded in 1999 and headquartered in Agoura Hills, California, serving enterprise clients nationally. More than two decades of infrastructure work sits behind our DevOps practice, which matters more than it sounds: most delivery problems in large organizations trace back to networking, identity, storage, or legacy systems that a pure DevOps shop is not equipped to touch.
We hold certified partner status across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Nutanix, NetApp, and Dell Technologies, and we are vendor-agnostic by design. Our recommendation is driven by your environment, not by what we are incentivized to resell. We were named NetApp Cloud First Partner of the Year, and our teams have delivered across retail, entertainment, healthcare, education, and utilities.
Because our practice also spans cybersecurity, network management, and FinOps, DevOps work at EDGE accounts for the security posture and cloud economics your CFO and CISO will ask about, rather than optimizing velocity in isolation.
Who This Is For
We work with VPs of Engineering, cloud architects, platform leads, and CIOs at organizations past the startup stage, where release cadence has become a business constraint. Common triggers include a completed migration that did not deliver expected agility, a platform team formed without a clear mandate, an audit finding around deployment controls, or growth that outran a manual release process.
When and Where to Start
Engagements typically open with an assessment of your current pipeline, environments, and delivery metrics, producing a prioritized plan within weeks.
Work can begin mid-migration or well after one, and we support AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments where workloads remain on-premises. We operate remotely with on-site engagement where the work calls for it.
Let's Look at Your Pipeline
Bring us your delivery bottleneck. We will tell you what is causing it and what it takes to fix it, whether or not you engage us for the work.
Frequently Asked Questions
How is cloud DevOps consulting different from your cloud migration services?
Migration moves workloads and establishes operations. DevOps consulting changes how software gets built, tested, and released once those workloads are running. The two are complementary and often sequential. If you are still planning a move, start with our hybrid cloud and migration practice.
Do we need to be fully cloud-native to benefit?
No. Most of our clients run hybrid environments with meaningful on-premises footprints, including mainframe. Pipeline automation, infrastructure as code, and observability deliver value regardless of where workloads sit, and we design for the environment you actually have.
Will you replace our existing tooling?
Rarely, and not by default. Most engagements make existing investments work properly before adding anything new. When we do recommend a change, it is because the current tool cannot do the job, and we are independent enough that the recommendation is not a sales motion.
Do you provide ongoing support or just implementation?
Both. Some clients want a platform built and their team enabled to run it. Others want ongoing managed support under defined SLAs. We scope either way, and we would rather leave your team self-sufficient than create a dependency.
